Known as Le Corbusier, Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris (1887-1965), deeply concussed the architecture and urbanism history during the 20th century. He is considered one of the main representatives of the Modern Movement. He was also a painter, a sculptor, a designer, and the author of several books, so that his work is multifaceted. Born in Switzerland, he obtained the French citizenship in 1930.
