Description

This story is based on a real experience that took place in the United States in the 1970s. To make his students understand the mechanisms of Nazism, Ben Ross, a history teacher, creates a movement, the Wave, with strong slogans: "Strength through Discipline, Strength through Community, Strength through Action". In the space of a few days, the peaceful Californian high school is transformed into a totalitarian microcosm: with frightening docility, the students abandon their free will to respond to the orders of their new leader, who is himself totally taken by his character. What shock will be violent enough to awaken their consciences and put an end to the demonstration?
