Description

What if the Wars of Religion were not so far away? What if they were, on the contrary, a burning issue today? Attacks, massacres, religious radicalization, civil wars... Our era is full of violence committed in the name of God. It shares with the end of the 16th century a feverish anguish, still redoubled by the media revolution. In the face of danger, the past knocks at the door: ghosts, survivors of the St. Bartholomew's Day massacre, demand justice here. The investigation must be reopened, and a new face put on the Wars of Religion. With the help of an amateur cameraman, the ghosts will return to the scene to stir up the dust of time, track down witnesses, search the archives for the lost meaning of these fifty years of civil wars. They will remake the film.
