Summary:

"Who am I? If I knew, it would settle a number of questions I keep asking myself! But fortunately, I started by refusing to be whoever anyone wanted me to be. I gave up at a very young age to fit into a category, a box, an obligation, or a propriety. In the end, I explored two avenues: wonder - when we observe insects we are in amazement - and doing, because making with my hands has always seemed very important to me.

About the authors :

Gilles Clément lived his childhood between Creuse and Oran, where his taste for travel and observation took root. A gardener, landscaper, botanist, entomologist, teacher and writer, he has only one passion: the living! He is at the origin of many sites (private and public, in France and in the world) of which the garden of the Arche de la Défense (Paris), the Matisse park (Lille), the Domaine du Rayol (Var).
He has developed certain flourishing concepts (the Garden in Movement, the Planetary Garden and the Third Landscape) based on a basic principle: "Do as much as possible with, as little as possible against" nature, energy and life.
