Description

French monarch best known, Louis XIV (1638-1715), called "the Great" or "the sun king" reigned over France and Navarre from 1643 to 1715; this is one of the longest reigns in European history. Keen on art and architecture, the Palace of Versailles with gardens, where you can admire the equestrian statue taken by OPAP, remains his most extraordinary achievement.
