Description

Gio Ponti, an advocate of industrial design and a great admirer of craftsmanship, in the late 50s and early 70s, loved to visit Salerno and the former Ceramica D'Agostino. Here he studied the renewal of the language of ceramics and, emphasizing the territorial context through colors and geometric and naturalistic features, he conceived the famous "Blu Ponti" majolica. On the occasion of the "Tutto Ponti. Gio Ponti Archi-Designer" exhibition, a collection of 9 miniatures was created, faithful to the original design. Exclusive sale at the Musée des Arts Decoratifs in Paris and Gio Ponti Store.
