Description

For the past twenty years, the Special Forces Land have been engaged in the fight against terrorism alongside their fellow sailors and airmen in many operational theatres. During this period, they have taken part in numerous training and intelligence missions and in "hit-and-run" interventions that have made it possible to neutralise several dozen armed terrorist groups. When Special Forces Land are deployed abroad for specific missions, they work for the COS (Command of Special Operations) or the DRM (Directorate of Military Intelligence). The COM FST (Commandement des Forces Spéciales Terre) is then in charge of providing these two entities with qualified personnel and means adapted to the missions entrusted to it. After a first volume devoted to the training and missions of the French special forces, this last volume presents, in an exhaustive and unique way, the armaments, equipment, and land, air and sea vectors.
