Description

Graine d'Olivier : Collection of tree seeds and exotic plants from around the world to sow

The olive tree has conquered gardens even north of the Loire. Grow seedlings and give them to your friends as gifts!
Rarely has a tree gathered so many symbols around it.
It has a long history, as it is one of the oldest plants cultivated by man, and thousand-year-old olive trees are common.
The Greeks used them for oil lamps and dedicated them to Athena, goddess of intelligence and creativity.
A symbol of peace and a sign of victory, it was the prize at the ancient Olympic Games.
Finally, the dove bringing an olive branch in its beak to Noah signified the end of the flood.
