Musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac
This ceramic was made in the village of La Chamba in the valley of the Magdalena River, south of Bogota. The artisans took up the techniques taught by their ancestors, the Pijao Indians, using a specific clay, found in the depths of the mines on the banks of the river.
