Description

A rectangular serving dish that's the perfect accompaniment to lunches and dinners with family and friends. Hand-painted floral motifs stand out against an off-white background, typical of the original Talavera de Puebla color. A design full of duality and contrast: the flowers symbolize protection, affection and unconditional love, while the black color chosen to illustrate them is synonymous with strength, discipline and resilience. After being crafted using an ancestral technique, each piece in the CARLOTA collection is dried, hand-decorated and then fired for several hours in a kiln at 980 degrees. Each plate, bowl, cup or vase thus reveals its vibrant color, its shiny, smooth finish, each time unique.
