Description

Banno, the sweet little girl next door, captures hearts with her endearing and playful nature. Whether running errands or playing pranks, she does so with unmatched enthusiasm. One moment she's here; the next, she's gone, never to be left behind. Banno embodies boundless energy and youthful spirit, akin to a fluttering butterfly that can sting like a bee if provoked. She revels in nonsense yet carries a no-nonsense attitude. Dressed in an Indian lehenga, an ankle-length skirt, and a choli blouse, Banno adorns her waist with a long Indian scarf, dupatta, for now. But she loves the exhilaration of letting her dupatta fly in the wind with gay abandon. Handcrafted by Afghan women refugees using waste fabric, Banno not only radiates joy but also supports a sustainable income for her creators. Banno, the embodiment of playfulness and determination, brings laughter and vitality wherever she goes. She symbolises the resilience and spirit of Afghan artisans, weaving a tale of creativity and empowerment through their skilled craftsmanship.
