It was in the aftermath of the Great War that two nurses, Charlotte Malleterre and Suzanne Lenhardt, created the Bleuet de France, a citizen's mobilisation to help the wounded and mutilated of war. This centenary initiative is still going strong and today helps veterans, war wounded, wards of the Nation and victims of terrorism through the ONACVG.
