Description
Summary :Beyond the archaeological comments, the author addresses the question of the means and methods implemented to document and archive the maximum amount of data knowing that, for multiple factors, the physical disappearance of the Cosquer cave is certain. Written for a wide audience, this book will be of interest primarily to students of archaeology by showing the diversity of scientific approaches to this topic from a central question: why did prehistorians engrave and paint in underground cavities?
