Description

The Hôtel des Invalides was decided by Louis XIV to accommodate invalid soldiers. Product by the Faïencerie de Gien, in the Loire Valley (since 1821). A Gien plate requires 26 different ingredientsand passes through the hands of 30 Faience craftsmen, the heirs of two hundred years of skill and know-how.
