Composition: 100% cotton stuffed with kapok. Kapok is a vegetable fiber obtained from the fruit of the kapok tree, a large tree in the tropics, also known as the "cheese tree". The fine, silky hairs covering its seeds are used to produce a plant fiber called kapok. This fiber is also used to stuff cushions, pillows and mattresses. Unfortunately, its use has declined greatly after the introduction of synthetic fibers.
