Bonbons Napoleon 225G Framboise
Description
The famous Napoleon candy was born in the workshop of a baker, Louis Janssens, near Antwerp in 1912. The name of this delicious candy comes from a conversation that Louis Janssens allegedly had with another baker. He had called his candy CESAR. Louis said, "In this case, I'll call my candy 'Napoleon'" and that's how Napoleon was born! The company is growing At first, the Napoleon candy enjoyed a local, then national reputation. The small workshop soon became too narrow and manufacturing was moved to a factory near Antwerp in 1933. Under the direction of the father and son, the family business moved a second time in 1965. Change of ownership The Janssens family no longer had descendants, had to sell the business. A Dutch family bought the business in 1973. A new factory was built in Schelle in 1988 to ensure an ever more important manufacture of the small yellow ball, but also of the many tastes that have been born since.
