Description

In 1670, Louis XIV decided to build a building likely to house his soldiers disabled or too old to serve. In 1674, the Hôtel des Invalides received its first boarders but work continued with the construction of the Church of the Soldiers and the sumptuous Church of the Dome. Come back, with this special issue, at the origin of one of the most emblematic monuments of Paris.
