Description

Concocted by Jean Buzelin from the beautiful SONO catalog created by Gary Edwards, here is a large panorama of the music played and sung in New Orleans from 1992 to nowadays. A generous and diverse music (jazz, blues, gospel, cajun or zydeco) still alive in spite of the hurricane Katrina which swallowed everything at the end of August 2005. All these songs, saved from the waters, testify now to the strength, the resistance, the creativity and the hope of the New Orleans community.
