Diary of the exhibition - The rare bird, from the swallow to the kakapoSold by Musée des Confluences Museum
Musée des Confluences
DescriptionBirds amaze us. With a great diversity of sizes, colours, songs, beaks, eggs and nests, they have conquered the sky and are present in all environments. Despite their great capacity for adaptation, birds are now in great danger. As collateral victims of human activities, their decline is increasing year by year.
With the second largest collection of birds in France, the Musée des Confluences in Lyon has selected nearly 240 specimens for this exhibition, from the museum's historical collections and from Hubert Bonnetain's important donation in 2018.
