Description

This handcrafted ceramic cup (7 cm height × 6.5 cm diameter) was developed for the Mucem Collection, drawing inspiration from Ghada Amer's powerful message in "A Woman's Voice Is Revolution", where she reclaims an Arabic proverb into a feminist slogan. A subtle raised inscription echoes "sawt almar'at thawra"-"the voice of the woman is revolution."

Crafted in Tunisia, the piece bridges local artisanal tradition and contemporary feminist art-parallel to Amer's ceramic works showcased at Vieille Charité.
