Description

Designed as a souvenir of the exhibition, this journal focuses in six chapters on the different dimensions of artificial intelligence that are revolutionizing the organization of work and creativity in our societies. The culmination of more than 70 years of research, it has seen astonishing progress, such as deep learning for machines. So much so that the fear of tens of millions of jobs being replaced by automation, promising unlimited benefits, haunts the world of work. However, from another perspective, artificial intelligence can prove to be an ally in the face of environmental challenges. This in no way prevents us from defining the proper and essential use of personal data to protect humans in the age of AI. In the field of creation, artists and authors are affected by the question of the status of works generated by AI. Finally, a timeline featuring 24 key dates in the history of artificial intelligence from its origins to the present day provides historical context for understanding this technological revolution, from the early days of what would become computer science to the intersection of mathematics, economics, and cognitive science.
