Description

In the early 1980s, Miami, one of the most violent and corrupt cities in the United States, is the bloody scene of drug trafficking. Two elite cops, Max Mingus and Joe Liston, are sent to the zoo, to the monkey cage, to retrieve a man's corpse. His mouth and nose have been sewn shut, and he has a tarot card in his stomach... Mingus and Liston dive into the Haitian community, a world of black magic, ritual sacrifices and voodoo witchcraft, in pursuit of the enigmatic Salomon Boukman.
