Eva Gonzalès

ThePetit Palais presents a unique monographic exhibition dedicated to the painter Eva Gonzalès (1847-1883). This collection, featuring notebooks, magnets, mat frames and mint candy tins, showcases key works from the exhibition and invites visitors to rediscover the artist's subtle sensibility in their everyday lives.
A contemporary of Mary Cassatt and Berthe Morisot, and the only student of Édouard Manet, Eva Gonzalès had never before been the subject of a major retrospective, having passed away prematurely at the age of 36.
