40th Anniversary of the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie

On 13 March 1986, the day Halley's Comet swept across the sky, the Cité des sciences et de l'industrie opened its doors. 40 years later, this iconic Parisian institution has invited four artists whose distinct visual languages and sensibilities resonate with the spirit of the Cité, giving them complete creative freedom. Through the eyes of Cruschiform, Tom Haugomat, Thomas Hayman and Beya Rebaï, visitors are taken on a journey through the Cité's most emblematic spaces. Their illustrations capture the sense of imagination the Cité has inspired over the past four decades, rekindling childhood wonder and memories of past visits. Together, they reflect both what defines the Cité today and the vision that drives it forward: the infinitely large and the infinitely small, scientific discovery, the living world, research and curiosity.
