Description
Summary:An Egyptian family expatriated in Lebanon for nearly 10 years, shaped by Western culture, the Naggars live happily ever after.
With a cool mother in love with her gay best friend, a philandering father who is a bookstore owner and a fan of Echo des Savanes, and three teenagers who are movie buffs, this "wonderful family" keeps out of the political and religious conflicts that plague the country. To the explosive cocktail formed by the oppositions between Sunnis, Shiites, Druze, Maronites, Catholics and Armenians, were added the tensions between Palestinian refugees and the State of Israel.
In April 1975, war broke out. A war that was not the Naggar's war but that would soon catch up with them.
