Since the 1960s, art lovers and dealers Ewa and Yves Develon have built up a collection of over three hundred objects from sub-Saharan Africa. Exceptional and rare, it focuses on the cultures of Nigeria, which are little known in France.
The Ewa and Yves Develon donation now enriches the African collection of the Musée des Confluences, which consists of nearly seven thousand objects divided into three major groups: North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and Madagascar.
